Make dipped treats, molded decorations and dessert drizzles with 50Express Cacao Coating Melts. No tempering is required. Use for strawberries, pretzels, sandwich cookies, cake pops, cakesicles and candy molds.

What you receive

One 5 lb (2.27 kg) bag of your selected variety. Fruit, cookies, molds and decorating supplies shown in serving suggestions are sold separately.

Choose your variety

• White: White coating for dipped treats and decorations.
• Premium White: A creamier coating with a slight off-white tone that sets with a shine.
• Milk: Milk-style coating for dipping, molding and drizzling.
• Dark: Dark-style coating for dipping, molding and drizzling.

Melting & working directions

1. Use a microwave-safe plastic bowl and clean, dry utensils.
2. Heat for 30 seconds, stir thoroughly and scrape the edges, then repeat.
3. If needed, continue in 10-second intervals until the coating reaches 125°F.
4. Work between 110°F and 125°F.

Avoid ceramic or glass bowls. Do not heat for more than one minute at a time. For filled molds, refrigerate for 2–5 minutes, checking at one-minute intervals until set. Keep water out of melted coating.

Warm-weather shipping

Coating may soften or melt during transit. We ship with an ice pack and thermal bag, but melting may still occur. Wafers that lose their shape can be remelted for use. Warm-weather shipping is at the customer's risk. All sales are final.
