Shipping policy
Our orders are shipped via USPS and FedEx from our Baldwin Park, California location. Orders placed Monday- Friday usually ship within 1-3 business days after your order has been processed. (Weekends & Public Holidays are excluded).
We do not ship on the weekends. If your order is placed on a Friday after 12PM or over the weekend, it will be processed the next business day.
Once your order has shipped it should arrive between 2-8 business days if you have opted for ground shipping.
Priority Mail within California typically arrives within 1-2 business days. If you are outside of California then it typically arrives within 1-3 business days.
Please be aware that shipping orders may be delayed at this time. We are working hard to deliver items as soon as possible. However, due to the increased safety measures, shipping times may be delayed. Our couriers have also expressed that delivery times/dates are delayed due to COVID 19. We can not guarantee transit times.
We will send you the tracking information once your package has shipped.
Shipping Prices
The cost of shipping will depend on the weight, size, and location of your destination. USPS and FedEx charge “Dimensional Weight Shipping” for all ground shipping. They consider the weight of the items, as well as the size of the items. For example, if you are ordering a dummy foam that may not weigh a lot, but may be a larger size which requires a larger box. For items that also may be fragile, placed with items that are heavier, we may have to ship them in separate boxes to ensure the items arrive intact.
We offer FREE Shipping* on purchases of $49.00 or more (*Only available to residents in the continental U.S.).
Lost Packages
We understand that sometimes packages do get lost in transit. If your package is lost in transit, Bakers Express will file a claim with the carrier and reship your items. This will only happen when a package is lost in transit. If your tracking information shows that your package was delivered, Bakers Express is no longer liable*. It is up to the buyer to reach out to the carrier and file a claim or ask for assistance. When doing so, please contact your local locations. The buyer should also check with neighbors and family members to be sure the package wasn't accidentally misplaced or moved.
*The only time Bakers Express will refund or reship a delivered package is when our shipping team has shipped a package to the wrong address.
Expedited Shipping
If you would like to inquire about expedited shipping please email us at online@bbexprs.com or call us at (562) 777-2251 to request a quote for expedited shipping. To request a quote please provide us with the items you would like to order along with your shipping address.
International Shipping
We offer shipping worldwide. If you are an international customer please choose Worldwide shipping at checkout. International packages are shipped via DHL. At this time we are unable to ship frozen and refrigerated products internationally.
Frozen Icing/Topping Shipping Guidelines
Orders for our Frozen Whipped Icing/Toppings are shipped Monday-Wednesday before 3PM PST. Any orders placed after Wednesday at 3PM PST, will ship out the following Monday. Due to COVID-19, orders may experience a slight delay and be shipped out the following day.
We want to ensure that you receive your items in a timely manner and as cold as possible. These items are perishable and must be REFRIGERATED IMMEDIATELY upon arrival. THEY CANNOT BE REFROZEN. Shipping and tracking information will be emailed once your order has left our location. Please make sure your shipping address is entered correctly as these items are perishable. We urge you to opt in to receive shipping notifications so that you can receive the item ASAP.
Due to COVID-19 orders may take longer to process and ship. We do not have control over the shipping times for orders.
Summer Weather Advisory
There are items that do not ship well during the warm weather and are indicated with a disclaimer on the product’s page. Item’s with this disclaimer are shipped at the customer’s risk. For shipping times, we suggest choosing the priority mail option. We apologize for the inconvenience this may cause and for the uncontrollable warm weather we will receive during the summer. If you do receive chocolate that has melted, they will still work. Melt the chocolate as you normally would when you are ready to use. Due to California State and Los Angeles County health code: NO RETURNS are allowed on food/edible products.
