INSTANT VANILLA CUSTARD (HALF BATCH)
-1/2LB (8oz) Of Instant Vanilla Custard
-1LB (2 cups) Water
-We will be using a paddle attachment for this mix.
-Mix on low speed for one minute.
-Scrape bowl
-Lastly mix at medium speed for 1 minute.
-Fill your tipless bag with the vanilla custard and cut the tip of your bag using scissors.
-Now take another pastry bag, put the tip 1m inside and fill it with vanilla bettercreme.
-Grab a puff pastry square and lay it on top of your cake, cut out a square the same size as your puff pastry.
-Take one puff pastry square and place it on your 8' board. Adding a small amount of pressure, smash down on your puff pastry using another small board.
-Pipe your vanilla custard on top of puff pastry. Then place the cake on top, pipe another layer of custard, and put the last layer of puff pastry over it.
-Pipe your bettercreme, starting from the left side to right.
-We will be making an American Flag design for this mini cake. Place a few blueberries to the top left of your cake, making a square. Now place 4 rows of cut strawberries across your cake. Make sure to leave a space between the strawberries so that you really see that flag design.
-Spray on some white galaxy dust to add a nice shine. Now your 4th of July cake is ready to be enjoyed by all.
