Decorate cookies, pipe lettering and create firm icing details with 50Express Royal Icing Mix. Just add water, then adjust the consistency for outlining, flooding and detailed piping. Royal icing dries firm—ideal for decorated cookies, icing flowers and gingerbread assembly.

Water, food colors, cookies and decorating tools are sold separately.
How to prepare
- Shake the dry mix well before measuring, then sift.
- For a half batch, start with 4 cups mix and ¼ cup water.
- Add the mix one cup at a time, incorporating each addition before adding the next.
- Mix at medium speed until fluffy, bright white and shiny.
- For medium consistency, add 2 tablespoons additional water. For flooding, add 3 tablespoons additional water to the starting recipe.
Allow decorations to dry before stacking or packaging. Royal icing sets firm; it is not a soft cake frosting.

Ingredients: Powdered sugar (cane sugar, corn starch), meringue powder (dried egg whites, modified food starch, sugar, corn starch, leavening [potassium aluminum phosphate, cream of tartar, monocalcium phosphate], gum arabic; contains 2% or less of each: gelatin, locust bean gum, natural and artificial flavors), Bakers Cream (calcium sulfate, monocalcium phosphate, adipic acid, corn starch).
