50EXPRESS WHITE CAKE MIX
MIXING INGREDIENTS
-Add 1 cup of water to a large mixing bowl, then add 6 cups of cake mix and mix 3 minute on low speed.
-Add 1/2 cup+1/3 cup water, Mix 1 minute low speed. Scrape bowl, and mix for 2 minutes on medium speed.
-Add 3/4 cup+1/2 Tbsp water and 1/2 cup oil, mix 1 minute on low speed. Scrape bowl and mix 2 minutes on low.
-Spray the mermaid tail silicone mold with your favorite non-stick spray. Empty yhe cake batter into the mold. Filling it about 1/2 way.
-Bake at 325 for 21 minute or until firm in the center. You will need 2 cakes for this design.
-Let it cool then remove carefully so that the tail doesn't break.
-Melt your white chocolate in two separate deli cups and color them Lavender and Candy color from colour mill.
-Place them in a tipless bag and start to fill your under the sea silicone molds. Place them in the freezer to dry, then remove carefully from mold. To give them a pearlized look, dust on some intense pearlescent power with a brush. Set them aside
-Now color your buttercreme using the 50express gel color Island Turquoise.
-Place tip 6B in your pastry bag and fill it with colored buttercreme.
-Pipe by applying pressure and release, covering the entire cake using this technique. Place the other layer of cake on top. Do the same to the top layer.
-Add your ocean breeze sprinkles and white pearl beads to the top of your cake.
-Spray white galaxy dust to give your mermaid cake a beautiful shine.
-Place chocolate pieces on top to add the finishing touches. Now your cake is ready to be enjoyed.
