-1/2 Cup Softened Unsalted Butter
-1/2 Cup Brown Sugar
-1/3 Cup Granulated Sugar
-1 Egg
-1 Tsp Vanilla Flavor
-1 1/4 Cups All Purpose Flour
-1/2 Tsp Baking Soda
-Pinch Of Salt
-1/2 Cups Of Chocolate Chips
-1/2 Cup Of Walnuts (Optional)
PROCEDURE
-In a small mixer add softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar. Mix on low speed until well combined.
-Add egg and vanilla flavor. Scrape bowl.
-Gradually add your dry ingredients, all purpose flour, baking soda, and pinch of salt. Let in mix for about 1-2 minute or until all ingredients are incorporated.
-Lastly add chocolate chips and walnuts.
-Now your cookie dough is ready.
-Brush melted butter on your heart shaped pan. Then spread your cookie dough on to the pan. Making about a 1" layer.
-Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes.
-Let it cool for 10-15 minutes. Flip it over on to your 8" board.
-Color your buttercream red and pink using the gel colors.
-Place tip 1M and Tip 20 into your pastry bags and fill them with your colored buttercream.
-Pipe a few rosettes with your pink buttercream and small swirls with the red buttercream, doing this on the edge of your cookie.
-Add your non-pareils and sprinkles.
-Make a swirl in the center of your cookie and place your Valentines Day pick on top.
-Lastly add your white galaxy dust for a beautiful shine.
