Nothing says Halloween like Bloody Brains re-create these gory brain shaped cake pops using the items and procedures below.
Items used:
- Corn syrup
- White chocolate 50express
- Sm brain
- Melon colour mill
- Super red GC 50express
- Measuring spoon
- Brush set craft
- 8" frozen cake yellow (available in-store)
- Ghirardelli sunrise cocoa
- White and silver crinkle paper
- Box clear 7 1/2 X 4 1/4 X 2
- water
Procedures:
- *Melt White chocolate and color it with melon colour mill.
- *Place a small amount of chocolate into the brain sm and brush the chocolate to get all edges of the mold. Place in freezer to dry. Brush another layer of chocolate on the edge of the sm. Let it dry one more time.
- *Take cake and put it into the mixer using a paddle attachment, let it mix until all of it sticks together. Like a dough consistency.
- *Now place cake in the mold and cover it with more chocolate. Put in freezer to dry. When dry remove from mold.
- *Now lets make edible blood
- -In a small container mix:
- -1/2 tsp cocoa power
- -4 tbsp of corn syrup
- -1 tsp of water
- -5 drops of super red gel color
- *Mix all of it together. you can add more water if you want more of a watery consistency.
- *Take a small brush and tap small amounts of edible blood all over the brain to give it a bloody effect.
- *Place white crinkle paper in your box and place the chocolate brain pieces inside.
